Antonia Carla Testa is Scientific Director of the Center for Ultrasound in Gynecological Oncology “Class Ultrasound” of the Agostino Gemelli University Hospital Foundation. Since its inception, the Centre has trained more than 3.000 Italian and European physicians and health professionals; it provides patients with the highest professional service and plays a key role in multicentre scientific studies. Professor Testa is also Associate Professor of the Institute of Obstetric and Gynaecological Clinics at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.

She has been member of the Board of the International Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology ISUOG (International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology) for 8 years ,and she has been Vice-President of the SIEOG (Italian Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology) for two years. She became member of The International Ovarian Tumour Analysis (IOTA) in the year 2000. She has conducted more than fifty research projects on gynaecological cancer and chemotherapy protocols and her studies have enabled leading companies in the construction of ultrasound equipment to improve their ability to diagnose and recognize tumour masses
