Assoc./Prof. Melody Menezes

BSc(Hons), GDipGenetCouns, PhD, FHGSA A/Prof Melody Menezes is the Executive General Manager – Clinical at the Victorian Clinical Genetics Service (VCGS).

Originally from Canada, Melody graduated with Honours in Molecular Biology and Genetics and continued her studies with a Graduate Diploma in Genetic Counselling followed by a PhD in Fetal Development and Medicine at the University of Melbourne.

Melody is a Certified Genetic Counsellor and has over 15 years of clinical experience. Her research and clinical interests include reproductive screening and testing. Melody is passionate about providing patient-centred care to individuals and families.

Melody is also the Associate Program Director for the Master of Genetic Counselling program at the University of Melbourne.
