Prof. Beverley Vollenhoven

Professor Beverley Vollenhoven AM

Professor Vollenhoven is Professor and Carl Wood Chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Monash University and the Director of Gynaecology at Monash Health, Victoria’s largest health service.  She is a senior clinician at Monash IVF.  She is a certified Reproductive Endocrinologist and Infertility Specialist.

In 2019 she was inducted to the Victorian Honour Roll of Women.  In 2021 she was awarded a Member of the Order of Australia in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List.

She has a long track record of successful research collaborations in the area of IVF and Embryo Implantation, Uterine Fibroids, PCOS and other ovarian disorders as well as technologies such as virtual reality.  Her clinical input, both in terms of knowledge and clinical contact, has helped support and advise the translation of basic science findings.
